through ads and search on the device just like everything google does it all boils down to search and ad revenue. They even make money off of search on iphones, stupid apple.

Sorry, I understand that, just the way that the article phrased it

it sounded like they expected Google to make money from Android some other way.

Here in Canada, Telus was supposedly getting the Desire months ago, but it still has no official release date. I know 2 people that are going to pick one up when its available.

I would happily be among those 200,000 if I wasn't under contract with AT&T until next May. I am ready to be done with iPhone.

no, see... that's what happens when its on DOZENS of phones oh hundreds of networks at a time... not just one. the only thing that's far-fetched is thinking apple stands any chance of remaining dominant.
