remote wont work. tried 4 remotes and called for advice when trying to get remote to connect with tv...still no remote...lost original remote...

Call Philips. Your remote sensor board has crapped out. The chassis starting with LC8 have an known issue, and most can be fixed under the manufacturer's warranty - but you can't get anything down without calling Philips and getting a claim going.

It's a tiny $10 part that takes 30 seconds to replace.

For the third and hopefully convincing time: call Philips.
