2011 macbook air 13 vs 2013 lenovo ideapad flex 15

im currently in graphic design school shopping for a computer and ive narrowed it down to these two which one would best fit my needs? the Lenovo has a i5 processor and the mac has the i7 im just trying to figure out helpppppp

Contact the dept of the school that you will be attending and find out if they require mac or microsoft. It would suck if they require mac and you show up with the lenovo.
