Hi,

I work in an area where I can't have any Wi-fi , bluetooth, or any wireless technology.
I was wondering if someone knew of an external device (like Roku or WD TV Box) that I could use to hook a 3 TB HDD to our TV to watch movies/shows on.

I've been looking all over Amazon and most of the devices I found really only support 32 GB flash drives or formatted drives to FAT 32 (still not too sure what that is lmao)
Thanks in advance!

Hi, I used to use a WD Live box. I had a 1TB portable drive plugged in and played movies, tv and downloaded youtube videos. It played a wide range of file formats but occasionally didn't recognize a file. Overall, it was a satisfactory set up. It was a year or so ago that I switched to a NAS drive so I am not sure if the WD Live is still available. Also, as I only used a 1TB drive I can't say if it works with a larger drive like a 3TB. Hope this helps.
Cheers, Warren

You could also use most any blueray player or android TV box. Any Roku with a USB port will work too.
