$300-$400 laptop for dad

Hey guys,

My dad is looking to get a laptop in the $300-$400 range. Obviously this would be a used or refurbished system.

His only requirements are that is has an embedded web-cam (good quality please), and a large screen (15" plus).

Other than that, he would just use it for surfing the web, youtube, facebook.

No gaming, or office / other applications...strictly webcam and firefox.


I looked at dell refurbished, but they don't have any cheap systems with large screens. eBay is definitely an option, but I don't know where to start.

Any help is much appreciated.
