300 dpi printer

Hello,
I am using Windows XP and have this label printer application which can only print at 300dpi. How can i achieve this as my I.T. said the minimum our printer can print is at 600dpi.

Have you tried the application anyway? Maybe the minimum DPI is 300.

If it does not work, how about telling us what the application is? Maybe there is another work around.
