32" ultra lcd tv no picture or sound has faint backlight and red light on

No flashing lights just a steady red .
The back light i can see in dark room.
Just have no picture or sounds.

Possible for a board replacement if you have exhausted everything and still the TV won't turn on. Seek an advice from a technician or the manufacturer. If the repair will cost you more than the price of a new TV, it's best for you to buy a new one.
