4 ohms speakers to 6 ohms receiver ?

Hello,
My question is, will a seperate 1000 watt amp be the solution to having a reciever 8 ohms pushing the 4 ohms speakers ? reciver to amp amp to speakers !

most receivers can drive ONE pair (only) of 4 ohm speakers. Or use an external power amp. Does the receiver have "pre amp out?"
