4K HDR on Pioneer Elite Pro151fd.

I have an AppleTV 4K32gig, and wondering if it is bad for my Kuro to run in HDR mode. The Kuro and the AppleTv say it's an exceptable resolution when I select it, but I don't want to hurt my tv .... thoughts?

Since your excellent TV predates 4k and HDR I would set the output for 1920x1080 non-HDR.
I doubt the Apple TV will output either regardless of the settings. It can tell what the TV handles when connected with HDMI.
You wouldn't get a picture if the Apple TV put out 4K. TV won't accept the signal.
