Hello,I am determining if I should by a sony vaio for $849 or $1199. The diff is the more expensive one has 640 GB Sata, other has 500 GB Sata, and more expensive one also has 6GB RAM vs 4GB RAM. And the more expensive one also is WiMax ready. If it was WiMax ready, does that mean I could access the internet from the cities that provide 4G without paying for additional services?

No, you will need to have a cellular data plan. It's not like free WiFi hotspots.

2GB RAM and 140GB extra HDD is not worth paying the extra $350. Those actual differences should be about $60 total.
Are you sure they are the only differences? I bet there are more.
