60 inch sharp

Last night I powered off the 60 INCH SHARP TV, this morning only blinks one fast one slow and so on. Can't get it to power on. Any ideas?

back light issue... but you need to enlighten us with more than "60 inch sharp tv" as there are many many types of those. If it is a "done" back light, you are probably out of luck unless it is under warranty or you do the work yourself to fix it cause it take quite a bit of effort to get at the backlighting elements.

60 inch LCD smart TV if I can remember correctly. Does that help?

no (that's like saying I have a chevy and it doesn't start and then adding that its a car) but any ways, you can try "forcing the system on" (this used to check the backlighting) and hope that the error was a "one time thing" and subsequently goes away. Its doubtful that it will be any kind of solution, but it gets you going maybe.

sorry, I am at work and unable to get the exact model, so how do I force the system on?

depends on the tv ... :-(
an example of the "chinglish" is
"Unplug the AC power cord of running TV set to force off the power.
While holding down the “VOL (-)” and “CH ( )” keys on the set at once, touch the power supply key on the set. After a central icon flash off, separate the fingers from key on the set." 🙂
