73" Mitsubishi wd73735 we replaced the lamp light and now the red status light is on? no picture on the TV.

When the status light is on, press "input" and "menu" on the front of the tv...hold these buttons for over 5 seconds and the light will indicate an error code.....6-1, 1-8, 1-7, or 4-8. Then I can tell you where the failure is.

now when we turn it on the timer light flashes for about 30 seconds and then shuts off. no status light now.
