Idiots that stumble into the streets with no warning deserve to get run over. This is called thinning out the herd BUT unfortunately 9 out of 10 times the pedestrian hit will survive. So this will ultimately be something the insurance companies are asking for. lol.

How about banning stupidity? Since thats actually the root of the problem. You can beat around the bush, banning this and that, but the real issue is stupidity. People who have a slight bit of intelligence can walk and chew come at the same time. But some people can't.

This is Darwinism right here. Our technological progress is clearing out the stupid people.
