A little find today

Of the several garage sales and yard sales, only 2 turned up anything
gaming related. One had several PS2 and GC games but I passed as it
was too much each and the seller said she didn't own the game but her
grandson and she wouldn't know if my offer was OK with him or not.

Another one turned up an almost complete Sega Saturn deck with 2
controllers (no AV or RF cable) plus 7 complete games for $20. Got it
as I didn't have all of the game. One of the game is actually 3-in-1
package of Virtua Fighter 2, Virtua Cop, and Daytona USA. The other
games are: Off World Interceptor Extreme, Astal, Bubble Bobble
(YEAH!), Hang On, Mr. Bones, and Clockwork Knight.

Not only was it a nice addition to my collection, finding something
with significant number of games without getting a dupe in my
collection of 50+ Saturn game was a miracle.

PS the area where I found the Saturn must be a virgin hunting ground
as the person said she was trying to sell that for the last 20 years.

Nice to see ther are "in-the-wild" finds to be had.

I picked up a N64 console with A/C and RF switch for $10 (I needed an
extra N64 console), and was glad to see that it included the Expansion
Pak. Only find in a LONG while....

I found: an Atari 2600 (4 switch) with the box, the power supply, a set
of paddle controllers, a set of driving controllers, a set of keyboard
controllers with the box, a couple of third-party joysticks, a busted
2600 joystick, and the power supply for a 4-port Atari 5200.

All for $5.

When I asked the seller about games, he said, "Oh yeah, I sold 20 or 30
games to some guy this morning for $10."

I'm just puzzled why SumGuy didn't pick up the box of hardware. Oh
well, I sure did.

Because I didn't need any more hardware. And I was tickled as I could be
with the Chase the Chuckwagon, Video Life, Halloween, Gas Hog, 5 Lab Label
carts and others for $10.

I did that once. Ad for garage sale said Atari...

Was a good 20 minute drive she had Atari with maybe 10 games.

I just bought 1 game for .50 and left the rest.

The game was called Chase the Chuckwagon!

What's the odds of that happening again?
