@nukemaster: +1 for being funny but -1 for obviously having never used an oven. 320? I don't think ovens even go that low :)

My parents are around 60 years old (57 and 60) and they renovated their kitchen / dining area a couple years ago to the tune of $120,000. The hardwood flooring alone cost $10k.
 
@gm0n3y What the crippity-crap?!? 120k? Were the counter-tops gold plated?
 
Marble shipped in from Italy actually. Tore out some walls to make the area larger, crazy fancy appliances, all new cabinets, had to rewire and replumb the whole thing, new dinning table, moved and replaced the windows... We're pretty much talking tearing out half of one floor of their house and replacing it all with crazy high end stuff.
 
Oh, and they're in Canada, so add 20-30% to all of the costs compared to Americans (almost everything is more expensive there).
