A zoom sound from laptop, and everything pauses for 2 seconds then continue

As the title says there is a zoom sound from my laptop and then everything pauses for 2 seconds then continues as usual.
Laptop specs :-
Dell 7559
OS - Ubuntu 18.10
I wanted to know the remedy.
Is it going to cause a serious problem in future?
