Accessing YouTubeTV on older generation AppleTV

I have the older generation Apple TV, which works fine, but isn't showing YouTube TV as an option. I know I could AirStream it, but is there another way to get the option? It is on automatic update, and yet YouTube TV isn't included yet.

Go to Appstore on your Apple TV and look for Youtube and see if it is available. If you can see Youtube select get to have it downloaded.
