Question LG LHB335 not displaying on main TV, but works on others & monitors

LG LHB335 home theater system refuses to display picture most of the time on living room TV (don’t know the model but it’s a samsung TV.) System works on an older TV in another room and 3 monitors i’ve tried so far. i’ve also tried different HDMI cables and ports on the samsung TV but can’t get it to show all the time.
We’ve used the system before with the same TV just fine btw it’s just now starting to not show anything but the LG logo on boot up then it goes into black screen.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?

check which Samsung TV model it is
update the firmware of the LG and the Samsung

check if the resolution can be displayed on the Samsung, which is set in the LG

do other HDMI devices work on the Samsung?
