I just installed Windows 8.1 on my new SSD and wanted to redirect all my Music/Videos/Pictures, etc. folders to a new data drive (E:\). When attempting to redirect my Music folder in Windows 8.1 to its new location on E:\ I accidentally selected the drive root, and not the "Music" subfolder I created. Now EVERYTHING is messed up and I can't find a way to revert and get back to the default. I already found this thread: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2024314/windows-redirecting-folders-drives.html

that explains NOT to do what I accidentally did. Now I need to find out how to undo it. Appreciate any help.

Try System Restore back to a point before your disaster... Type 'This PC' at your Start Screen, Rt Click 'This PC and choose 'Properties'. Then it's 'System Protection' and 'System Restore'
