Acer 4750 help.

hello, i just bought an Acer 4750 laptop.i have a problem right now,i don't know how to switch from Intel HD graphics to GT 540M. can somebody help me on how to switch cards?

i read that it's suppose to automatically change depending on the required graphics of the application.but i opened GTA IV, and the card used was still the intel HD.help me please...
