Question Dell Precision M4700 GPU not working properly.

Dell Precision M4700 laptop sometimes starts on dedicated GPU or sometimes on intel HD its totally random.
The main problem is that laptop randomly shifts between graphics and to switch it back to dedicated graphics I have to restart it or take the battery in and out or remove the battery and then start it on the charger still these steps always don't work. It has sometimes given me BSOD, and error says, "Thread stuck in device error", updated GPU driver to the latest still the issue persists.
Device Specs: intel i7 3520M, AMD FirePro M4000 mobility pro graphics card.

which GPU driver did you install?

try updating the BIOS, reinstall all drivers like chipset, iGPU, etc,...

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

check the memory by running memtest.org usb autoinstaller (bootable USB flash drive)

check the hard drive for errors with its manufacturer´s tool


use ddu uninstaller and reinstall the latest graphics driver

replace the BIOS battery
