Acer 5560 Random Freeze (AMD CPU)

Hey guys! I just bought this laptop and it runs great but I keep getting a random freeze once and a while, I just sent it to support but it can't find the problem since it's random and I can't recreate it in any way. I formated it a couple of times and still nothing, the problem persists cross OS (Linux too). Now for the problem, the computer randomly freezes, sometimes it takes a month, sometimes daily often. The screen freezes and the mouse and keyboard don't respond, also the HDD light stops. I thought that the probem is the processor (AMD-A6). Any ideas? Also now I am going away for the holidays and the crew at support are just going to format it and send it back, I really don't want to have it freeze through the summer... any way I can ask for a replacement unit? Also changing the HDD voids my warranty so I can't do that... Thanks for the support guys!

overheating issue, as its an APU , apply new thermal paste and pads. the see.
