Acer 5820T

Greetings

Just a short question...
I've recommended my cousin the 5820T for "home use" and "mobility" but out of the box it has a 1 minute boot time... and after that still takes half a minute or so to "get ready" and it just doesn't sound right to me...
it's a i3 M 330 proc, 3 gigs of ram, intel HD graphics and home prem x64...
anyone know if that's normal or not, if i should just reinstall the whole thing using my win7 dvd and her serial, install ubuntu on it... cause her sister-in-law has another acer and it boots up "normally" in under 30 seconds...
don't remember the exact specs but it was 32 bit win7 ultimate... 4000something radeon and P320 athlon... and 2 gigs of ram

For an i3, a 1:30 boot time isn't bad at all. I wouldn't worry about it. Just uninstall the bloatware and it should be just fine.
