Acer aspire 4740 laptop goes off suddenly especially when i talk on skype

hi my acer aspire 4740 goes off suddenly without any indication.it jus turns off especially when i am talking on the skype.i thought it may be cause of the battery i tried running without the battery it does the same goes off sudddenly even after removing the battrey.please help

Is it overheating? Are you checking the CPU temps?
