Acer Aspire 5349

I installed a new hard drive in my Acer Aspire 5349 laptop i went into my bios to make sure that the hard drive is showing up and it is. Then I went into my bios to select my cd rom to boot up the systems files disk but nothing happens a message comes up no bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key. I don't no what else to do

The disk you're using isn't bootable. You could try cleaning it and see if that made a difference. Was it a download you made yourself and, if so, did you burn it to the disk or just copy?
