acer aspire 5517 screen went blank

I qas watching a movie and my screen went blank.. the movie was in the external hard diak which was connected to tge laptop.. tge laptop ahows both tge lights of charging and that it is switched on as blue.. i switched it off turned it on still tge screens blank black.. wat do i do

Hi,

Your laptop might just went to sleep or hibernate mode. Do a hard reset, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for around 20 secs. Put all back together and then power it on that should load it back to your desktop.
