acer aspire e 15 wont let me type in my password

Hi I shut down and later start up my Acer aspire e 15 but won't let me type in my password

Exactly why not? Nothing is typing? Check the keyboard connections and try an external keyboard.

Nothing is typing, yes. The other functions still work fine, eg, increase/decrease brightness, sleep mode via Fn + F4, etc etc.

I'm also experiencing the same problem. Please help 🙁
