Acer aspire fan

Hi, I recently purchased a Acer aspire ES1-511-C11F laptop for my girlfriend and she noticed that cooling fan is not running and it gets very slow sometimes, like for half day or some times few hours and then it's good again but fan still is not running. Could anyone could assist me if it's all right that the fan is not running?

The fan controls are designed to cycle at different speeds depending on the load on the CPU. When the CPU load increases, the heat produced will increase, and the fan will run at a higher speed in order to coll off the CPU. This is normal.

You can install suitable programs that will check the CPU temps - HWInfo, RealTemp, or similar, and find out what the actual temps are.

Thanks for reminding about temperatures completely forgot to check them, I'll do it in the evening and see what the temps are like.
