Solved! Acer Aspire laptop won't turn on but it is charging?

My Acer laptop won't turn on. It was having issues the other day where i had to hold down the power button longer for it to switch on. \once it was on it was functioning normally with no issues.

Now it won't turn on at all but the blue light is on to say it's charging.

I honestly don't know what is wrong with it if anyone has any ideas?

Which Acer Aspire model is it?

unplug charger and battery, hold down power button for at least 30seconds, then try powering on using only the charger
after this with battery as well
