Acer Aspire V5-132 function key is stuck, cannot use standard F1-F12 mode, Fn+Num Lock does not work

I have been using my Acer Aspire V5-132 for more than a year and it works fine. A few days ago, the function key seem to have been locked. I cannot use the standard F1-F12. Tried accessing BIOS, and found out there is no option to change the function key mode in BIOS. Also tried Fn+Num Lock and Fn+Scrl Lock, both don't work. How to fix this? Need standard F1-F12 for work as they are the hot keys for the program I use.

You can try the following and see if it resolves the issue.

1. Uninstall the keyboard driver.
2. Reboot the computer (yes, without reinstalling the driver).
3. When the system reloads it should reinstall the driver for you.

I have a similar problem and tried this but it didn't work. Any other suggestions please?
