Acer Aspire V5 132p plugged in, but not charging.

Whenever i plug the charger, the battery icon says it is "plugged in, charging.", but the battery percentage stays as it is. For example, i plugged in at 12% it stays 12% all the time, even when i leave it and come back after eating, its still 12%.

We just bought the laptop last March 2014.

The time this has started happening is when we charge it in our house in the province.

What would have caused this?

Sounds like a battery problem. It's covered by warranty if you bought it in March this year so contact Acer for battery replacement under warranty if it's not excluded.

Its not a battery problem, we had it checked on where we had bought it and they simply just update the bios, thats what they said. I also thought its a battery problem, thank you Philip Corcoran sir.
