it has a bios password set on it and I can't remember what it is, I wanted to give it to my daughter for christmas but I can't get into it...its not under warranty anymore I've had it awhile but I wondered if anyone here could help me...

I'm assuming this would be a good solution if only the provided links actually worked...I am not ignorant...I have searched for the answer myself and already found this post...problem is, I'm broke...on disability...and my daughter is getting my old beat up used laptop as a christmas gift if I can figure out how to get into it because otherwise she won't have christmas...but thank you...
