Acer Asprice V Nitro - Screen only stays on when i press the keyboard

Power button doesn’t seem to on the computer but when pressing other buttons on keyboard, the keyboard lights up and the screen goes on and keyboard has to be continuously pressed for laptop to run. If i stop pressing the keyboard, laptop stops running and screen turns off.
Battery seems to be working fine

I suggest having either the manufacturer look at it, if under warranty, or take it to a local tech if not under warranty.
