Acer blank screen when plugged in and turned on!

Hi,

this had just happened, I got a low batter warning & plugged in my Acer laptop & the screen went dead but the blue (computer on) & red (charging) lights remained on. I unplugged it and the battery % had risen, replugged it in and the screen went dead again.

Any ideas about how I sould proceed?

So the screen consistently works when the AC adapter (charger) is unplugged? (If that's the case, you might have a hardware defect.)

Shot in the dark: Does your laptop have a hotkey on the keyboard for switching displays? If yes, plug in the charger and try using that key (you may need to use the FN key in conjunction with it).
