Wow, lots of tablets. Well I guess this means there should be no excuse for competitive pricing. Excluding Apple of course...

[citation][nom]dimar[/nom]I'd like a hybrid Win7 and x86 Android 🙂[/citation]

amen. that naturally means an Ubuntu table

Let's hope Acer can set fire to the tablet market as well, kind of like how they did it with the netbooks.

Hey!!! that guy in the pic has the same hairdo as the microsoft chap from yesterdays news.........

There are no details available, and the launch date is less than a month away... kinda fail.

I'd be the third guy to chime in to vote for a -- triple boot --- release. Windows 7, Linux, and Android all-in-one! That would be awesome. We'd get the best of all worlds as well as the ability to avoid specific pitfalls of each OS! @ My vote is for a triple boot.

well, triple boot would be good but the issues arising from pre-installation would be time consuming. I would suggest a flash drive with the installation of all 3 and a choice at first boot which combination you want.

Purist Windows fans can have a single OS, so can purist Linux and purist Android fans - but the more geeky and/or advanced can have any combination via tick boxes.

Alternately as Windows is the only commercial software and therefore requires a COA sticker that should be pre-installed and the Linux and Android are on a flash drive as add-ons after first bootup.

Make it cheap, make it Android. Bundle a QEMU Windows95 so you can play Duke Nukem if it gets you off... ;-)
