Hi, I bought a laptop emachines E627 in 2010. After about a year of purchase, I ancountered a charging problem. When in use, it didn't get charged when pluged in. When pluged in, the charging indicator keeps blinking instead of keeping on steady. In order to recharge, I had to turn it off or put in sleep mode. Can't use and having charged at same time. Now it's asking to replace the battery. I did but the problem remains unchanged. And it's still asking to replace the battery.
Please help.

The charging cable, or the port may need to be replaced.

I already have changed the cable. What is this port? and how do I change it?
