Hello,
How do I unlock the harddisc on my Acer Aspire Laptop.

Try pressing CTRL + ALT + DELETE a new window will appear enter administrator as username then press ok, this will login provided that your administrator account is not locked. Otherwise follow the below Step:

You can use active boot disk to reset password and unlock ur computer
here is the url: http/download2.lsoft.net/boot-cd-iso.zip

You need to write this image to cd using the toll came with it to make it dos bootable and then you have to boot using this cd.

You will find password recovery tool there which will delete your password so that you can login. Reset password and then boot with your harddisk. Now u can login.
