Acer leptop question

I have a problem with my acer leptop. When i switch it there is a notice on a black screen

and I cannt switch computer unti I go to bios and change ANCI to IDE mode.and Then windows starts and everytime I need to change modes. and when windows starts there is 2001 year on the calendar. What happens I don't know. Can anybody help me what to do? ? ?

It sounds to me like the CMOS battery is dead and needs replacing. The CMOS battery supplies constant power to the BIOS chip and this stops the BIOS from "forgetting" the date & time and the hardware configuration settings when the laptop is disconnected from the mains supply and the main battery is flat or has been removed.

To replace the CMOS battery requires that the laptop casing be opened up. It's a round coin-type battery. Get someone to do it for you if it sounds a bit daunting to you.
