Acer model ZR1 failed to charge

When I plug in the Acer model ZR1 laptop I power it on and it works but doesn't show the battery is charging and it shows the battery indicater, the yellow light but it's not charging. When I remove the plug the laptop refuses to work. I took the battery to be tested but it has power like 3.5v so I don't know weather the power is too weak or the laptop has a problem.

Sounds like you need a new battery.
