Solved! Acer pc bios password

I've tried the backdoor passwords and they did not help me. I locked out of my computer. can you help me?

Reset the BIOS by unplugging the machine and removing the motherboard battery for a few min.

Thank you very much for your help. I will have to find someone to do this as I'm not comp. smart. I would probably make things worse. As if , not being able to get on it isn't bad enough, Thanks Again.

what model acer ? removing cmos battery and main battery doesnt work for most acers go to http/tim.id.au/laptops see if he has a service manual for your laptop there could be a jumper location to clear the password , the manual will tell you what to do , its a donation website acer service manuals are sometimes hard to find , check him out
