Where can i get a recovery disc for my acer travelmate 415Lmi

From what do you need to recover? Had you made recent backups of your data?
I'm guessing you did not make your own recovery disks when you got the laptop?

Hiya.
I got the laptop off ebay about five years ago, i have tried the Acer site but they need a serial number but its missing.

I had a virus and now i cant do anything with it just a blue screen cant even get into safe mode.

I never had the recovery disc with the laptop when i got it, it has got the windows sticker on the back with key number.

I have tried every where to get a disc but no chance, looks like i need a new laptop.

You could try a bootable Rescue Disk. AVG Rescue CD
You download the software as a bootable .ISO image and burn it to a CD.
And you should be able to use the F12 to get the basic boot menu and have it boot from the CD you've created.
Besides getting access to your personal files you can run an AV scan. As long as the HDD is running and not damaged it might be able to help.

Another option is doing a 'clean install' of operating system. You'd lose everything on the HDD but the infection would be eliminated.

If the blue screens are a result of the HDD being damaged you could replace the HDD.
