Solved! Acer travelmate laptop 250 turns on and shuts down right away

need help when i push the power button the lights come on and shuts down on me right away

I'm assuming you're trying to do this with battery plugged in.

check that your power adapter is working properly. Have you done any hardware/software modifications right before this problem occurred? Has the laptop been having any overheating issues?
