Acer X Notebook series X200 Audio is gone and I can't reinstall it (open for more details)

So the sound on my acer X Notebook series X200 has gone. I've tried multiple solutions where none have worked so help is greatly appreciated. The audio software I used was Conexant audio. I don't know if this matters but I'm on windows 10. When I go on playback devices there is "No Audio Output Device". Then went and checked device manager and the driver was gone. When I tried to reinstall it it came up with an error stating that there was no device. Thanks to those who reply

I fixed this now by doing a checkpoint restore
