The crawler floats a little above the bottom of the screen - very noticeable on sports or news shows. How can i adjust so it is at the bottom of the screen?

Solution
which device are you using as source? Should be adjustable in this one

other than that the TV has settings for such as well:
Press the HOME button, then select [Settings] — [Picture & Display]
Screen
Adjust the aspect ratio and viewable screen area.

Wide mode: Adjust the picture size.
Auto wide: Automatically adjusts wide mode based on the signal.
4:3 default: Automatic sizing for 4:3 pictures.
Auto display area: Automatically adjusts the viewable screen area based on the signal.
Display area: Adjust the viewable screen area.
Screen position: Adjust the vertical and horizontal screen position.

Solution
If the adjustments above don't help I would say that the position of the crawler is part of the content and the only way to place it lower on the screen would be to overscan the entire picture more.
If this is adjustable it would be in a service menu and might adversely effect other sources. On a PC it would not let you see buttons at the edges of the display.
