Adobe Premiere Pro CC help

Hi, I've got a problem when trying to edit on premiere pro cc 2015. the video jumps frames, it seems the marker jumps to. I have no idea what it could be. Any ideas? Sorry, if I'm posting in the wrong category.

When you playback the source footage do you notice any frame drops? What is the format of the footage you are trying to edit?

Are you playing the preview of video clips or a sequence?
