Advice on buying a laptop

Good laptop for media editing and decent gaming. My budget is $900. So far I've had my eyes on Dell 15 inspiron 7559. Need some advice. Thank you

The Dell is actually pretty good for the price you pay. It is one of the least expensive laptop with a GTX 960m. There are plenty of written reviews for it as well as Youtube video reviews it.

The only negatives I can remember were mediocre speakers and the screen was not as good as the IPS screen on the more expensive Dell XPS 15 which basically has the same CPU and GPU but in a smaller and lighter chassis.

I think the Asus ROG GL551-VW-DS51 has similar specs.

Many laptops have mediocre speakers since they are only 2w and are usually located underneath the laptop.
