Advice on nice offers: GTX 960M/6300HQ for 800USD and GTX950/i5-4210H for 770USD

Hello dear computer experts :- )

I found these nice offers and would like to ask your advice about the two notebooks described below. I am interested in video gaming and in the simulation of physical processes in different programming languages (C, MATLAB).

So far, I concluded that the ASUS should have clearly more performance for video gaming. But I am not sure about the simulations.

Also, general advice is very welcome :)

I'd pick the ASUS, no question. It has both the superior GPU and CPU. I know nothing about simulations, but it has to perform better than the other one. But I'd add another 4GB of RAM. It's a tad low in that department.
