Hi,
Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again.
- If it will still get stuck on BIOS, shut down the laptop again then remove the HDD off.
- Boot up the laptop without the HDD and if it will get pass the BIOS screen and will load into a black screen with an error that means the problem is the HDD.
- Put the HDD back in and see if the laptop will get pass the Aptio screen.
- But if the laptop will still get stuck on the Aptio Setup screen without the HDD that means the problem is the motherboard.
- Do also try settings BIOS to default by pressing F9.[/
I tried doing a hard reboot but i didnt have the option and am unable to remove the battery. I tried to see if there was a way to fix being able to do a hard reboot in aptio settings and when i went to save and exit I pressed the wrong button. Im not sure wat i clicked on but it came up that things were being deleted and rest showing the percentage going up of things being erased i think (not sure wat it was) and after my computer restarted and when it came back on the computure was black and stays black, but the lights r still on indicating it is on. Do u know any solution or recommend wat I could do cos think i made things hundred times worse.
