AIM Won't connect

I started up an old system (win98)thats been sitting around for my daughter but for some reason AIM wont connect.The comp itself connects to the internet. I had no problem when I last ran it a couple years ago.AIM itself says "won't connect to server"

Have you tried downloading the latest version of AIM and installing it? http://dashboard.aim.com/aim

Sounds like your copy is two years old. Would you know what version you're currently using?
