Alienware 17 at FHD with 1060 or 1070

Pfff I might be a bit late with this question because I just ordered the 17 alien with gtx 1060, the 1070 adds 135£ maybe a bit more to the cost, the display is IPS FHD at 60hz I believe, so I cant stop thinking is 1060 going to be enough, I am not that big of a gamer for the last week I have played about 5 hours in total but from time to time I like to try new games in all sort of genres, on other hand I am not from the people that dont care about the price and the laptop as it is was already near the maximum that I have set to myself. So should I regret choosing 1060 ? I am planing on using the laptop for 2+ years

Since the 1060 gives around the same performance as a 970, it's more than capable at 1080.
